These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Cynch services, websites, and related systems.

By accessing or using Cynch, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Service Description

Cynch provides continuity and context preservation services for collaborative work.

The service observes relationships between decisions, work, and outcomes to help prevent misalignment and re-decision.

Services are provided as described in applicable documentation and configuration.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Cynch in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to access systems, data, or accounts without authorization
  • Circumvent service safeguards, access controls, or rate limits
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law
  • Use the service to infringe the rights of others

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.

Data and Content

You retain ownership of all data and content originating from your systems.

You grant Cynch a limited right to process this data solely to operate, maintain, and secure the continuity services.

Cynch does not claim ownership of customer content and handles data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Service Availability

Cynch is provided on an availability-effort basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control may result in temporary service interruption. Reasonable notice will be provided for planned maintenance when feasible.

Intellectual Property

Cynch and its underlying systems, software, and designs are owned by Cynch and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Cynch is provided "as is" and "as available."

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Cynch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Cynch will not be liable for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Cynch’s total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the fees paid by you to Cynch in the sux (6) months preceding the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if these terms are materially violated.

Suspension or termination may occur without prior notice where required to protect the service or comply with law.

You may discontinue use of the service at any time.

Termination does not affect obligations accrued prior to termination.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated as the service evolves.

Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
